    wrong breech

    Damn..... decidid to tinker with my rat catcher and got a steel breech...

    Breech screw hole is at the rear and of course its at the front on gun....arggh.

    Anyone had this and did you drill a new hole?

    I'd just drill and tap a new hole to the rear --- those front screw holes are a pain when loading.

    you'll have to use a notched hammer if you do
    most tubes are drilled and tapped for either position-13xx's are only drilled and tapped in the forward position
    I prefer front screws as it pulls the breech down nearer the tp and seals better

    Great....looks like the rear hole I have drilled for breech screw will mean the said screw will be struck by hammer on firing

    just get a notched hammer or put a notch in yours
