A little off target (if you'll excuse the shooting metaphore, lol ), as not 'Ladies' Pattern, as that is a misnomer. For whether LJ or BSA, the slightly smaller variants designated with an 'L' in their prefix, were -- and are -- known as 'Light' Pattern rifles (and I love 'em ) ...

The rifle laying at the front of the table is my 1910 BSA light pattern, the first guy is shooting a first series 1905 BSA standard.
Behind him are 2 pre war Diana 27’s.

I am afraid I don't know as I can't often make the Vintage evenings. I am sure someone will be along to advise though.

Hi Matt,

It's usually late July/early August on a Wednesday evening. Will try to remember to give you and any other guests a prompt nearer the time.

We have recently added a third element to this shoot - The White Feather Challenge. This requires a shot to be placed through an old scope at 20 yards from the standing position in order to ring a bell. It has its roots in a famous shot reportedly made by the legendary Carlos Hathcock during one of his many tours in Vietnam. Carlos probably made his shot from the prone position but we stand. Mind you he, was shooting at a greater distance!
