Another HW80. Yay!

This one is so nice it will stay looking the way it does. It has a 12mm shorter stroke now, mainly to keep power down and smarten up the delivery, but it will keep the open sights and almost perfect factory stock.

So you took the stroke down to that of a HW35, Nick ?

I was hoping not to hear that LOL

I would prefer to keep the original stroke and just tinker with a soft spring and keep it original even if it didn't feel like a 99
but its your gun and at least you are not changing the bore and piston

I have three, one standard, one at 12mm and one at 15mm reduction.

Funnily enough, I was giving my .25 hw80 a bit of a blat last Sunday. It's becoming a bit of a favourite at the moment.

All mine are .22 but I do miss the .25 cal I had.

Funnily enough just took delivery of a pre safety warning hw80k in .22 which I'm planning to use as the basis of a .25 80 project that I've been planning for yonks

Very nice mate, I hope you will be bringing your new toy to the bash in april bud. I'm still mulling over stock options at the minute for mine. I need to get a barrel ordered and have a play with the internals first though. Should keep me busy for a bit
