    Another add on question to this thread, does anyone use diopter sights for this, or is it only scopes.

    You could use diopter sights for bench rest but that could put you at a disadvantage compared with using a high powered scope.However I would think that they may well give better results than using a low power scope.

    Everyone at our club uses 'scopes, both on .22LR and air rifles.
