Scope Valuation

Morning all,

I have a Leupold VX1 3x9x40 in excellent condition. It looks to be one of the newer versions. It has the standard reticle. I have no box or papers for it though.

How much is something like this worth?

You just have to be careful it's not a fake before advertising it as a Leupold. I ordered a cheap 1.5-5x20 scope of t'bay and got a Leupold copy (not that I was expecting one!). Check out the serial number as the copiers don't bother to amend the numbers.

I've confirmed the scope is genuine. It was bought brand new by a mate on holiday in the US a few years ago. I just have no idea where to price it...
