Itr is an offence to release a non-native species into the wild. I do wonder if it is the most ignored law we have, millions of cattus felis owners break it every day with absolute impunity.

As domestic animals which return "home" they are neither "being released in to the wild" nor as pets actually covered by that law

Get pheasants and sometimes partridge under my bird feeders but no grey squirrels up here only reds.
No magpies either.

Both non native... tut tut.

But luckily not on the list. Like Cats, Dogs and Potatoes.

Not all grey things are elephants.
