daystate scope mount info needed

i have an airmax 30 sf 6x24x50 will i need high scope mounts to go over the top of the magazine or extra high

It will depend on the gun/shroud combo, I have several Daystates with high mounts and they all clear the mag and shroud with a 50mm Objective lens on a 30mm body, but it will depend where the saddle of the scope lies on your specific gun, so you may want ex high instead. Remember also you will have to load from the right if you have a side wheel fitted.

As pointed out above it depends on the gun, the older models like Air Ranger, X2, Huntsman (inc Regal) usually need high mounts but the new Wolverine and RedWolf have the mag sitting a little lower and medium mounts are usually ok to clear mag but large objective scopes may foul shroud. Also depends on brand of mounts, BKL mediums are around 3mm higher than Sportsmatch mediums for instance.
