    Airsporter - Valuation , please

    Hello

I’m looking for a valuation please:

    Mk2 Airsporter – 0.22
    Ser No – GD14824.
Good condition , bluing worn to blue / brown. Etching just visible and a pale wood stock

    With a Hawke Sport HD 4 X 32 scope
And a pair of Crown Mounts – good mounts with allan bolts both sides of the jaws and on the rings.

When bought the gun I was told it has a new spring in it, which I believe is too strong for the gun and sometime the gun cocks and other times it doesn’t.

I am planning on selling the gun, scope and mounts separately.
So a valuation for each item, please, prior to Birmingham this Sunday

    Thank You

    Selling guns

This won't be popular but I feel strongly about fellows selling faulty guns! I once watched a friend shoot another mate with a .22 revolver.Fortunately,we were round a camp fire,a flesh wound resulted and a doctor was handy.....so incident just passed. As a mitigating factor the shooter wailed that the gun was faulty and only worked sometimes.jeez!

I think this is why Sam made it clear that the rifle is unreliable. Most in the section do the “decent thing” and it was a shame that your experience could have been avoided.

Crown mounts: no idea what they are. £10-15?

Hawke scope: no great idea. £25?

    Rifle: pics, please, but £80-100?

I think you might get £25 for the scope and mounts together but wouldn't be sure if anyone would pay extra for postage on top of that? If you are selling I suggest selling them separately from the rifle as I think few would want it all as a complete set.

EDIT: Doh! just re-read the post again and realised you are selling separately. Thought I would leave my post unchanged so all could see I am a fool! ;-)
WANTED: Next weeks winning lottery numbers :-)
