I have a few steel bb airpistols co2 mainly but have tried green gas with not much success the pistols can be made of plastic instead of metal and are just not durable enough I currently have a we browning hipower which seems ok for now .I purchased a tanaka browning hipower from redwolf airsoft in hongkong which I had to have the slide coated blue . This arrived after weeks stuck in customs having to pay another £50 duty on it only took 3 days to arrive in the uk from hongkong . The problem was they had dipped the slide in a coating inside and out and this caused the slide and the barrel to stick I managed to free it off eventually but whilst firing it part of the trigger mechanism inside the slide broke off so the trigger does not work. This is made of plastic as is most of the pistol apart from the real barrel which is made of brass.I contacted redsoft to resolve this but they just said send a video which I did twice no reply.I going to try an airsoft specialist in Romford to see if this can be repaired which I doubt. The moral of this story is don't be temped to buy from non eu sources I purchased it by paypal but they don't have a clause for faulty goods. The uk branch of redwolf airsoft do not do warranty work on pistols bought from hongkong.
