Webley Mk3 issues

The photo of johnbaz is indeed, from top to bottom:

1st type trigger
2nd type (used to have a fluted stock, but that was broken and replaced with a later type stock)
2nd type
3rd type

Will fit a 2nd type trigger and trigger block to my Mk3. Lots of things to try/discover

The curse of the Mk3...
I will send the internals off to Paul Short.
That will be my last attempt.
I do like the looks of this gun though.
Let's hope it turns out well.
It's doing 8 ft/lbs now, with a shortened spring (-2 coils).
Still heavy to cock, harsh to shoot, and: twaaaaannggg. And that's with a new spring???

Should never have tried all this.
But who knows Paul will get it right.

Ps. I just love this slim Weaver scope.
The optics are not that great, it's like someone has turned off the light after using my Airmax's, but it just looks and feels right.
Difficult to find though.
