    pcp advice please

    How long,or should I leave my pcp filled to 200 bar
    I get the co2 thing and how it rots seals if left
    how does this work with pure air

    I fill mine up before I put them away. Can be left like that for months if unused.

    As long as mine are 150 to 190 bar I leave them like that. However i try and give a few dry fire shots every nonth.

    300 bar is a big fill,I leave mine about 170ish. Atb Mick.

    Assuming 300 bar is the gun fill pressure (and not the test pressure) then there is no harm leaving it. More harm is caused leaving a gun with little or no pressure, which usually results in the need for a seal change quite quickly.

    I've never come across a PCP that is filled to 300 BAR

    Hiya Mac,the recommended fill limit is 232
    sorry I typed that compleatly wrong
    Ive put 200 in it as a max ( my decision ) so as not to over do it.
    I'll edit the other bit now if I can

    PCPs can be left charged for months at a time with no ill effects, it's actually worse to let a PCP go empty as the O rings relax and lose their seal, when kept under pressure they last longer
