    Hi Ian,
Phil the owner of the Rapid 7 owners club forum [rapid7ownersclub.com] (down right now) obtained a list of serial number from Theoben of rifles produced up until February 2002
however a lot of rifles he was being asked to date were from the period from then until December 2012 and that information was not available, my own MFR included.

While I was reproducing the serial numbers into a more readable format for him I had gathered known serial numbers and dates from the forum and approached Phil with an idea,
I would work out monthly average production numbers based on all available information and create a list of estimated serial numbers to give folks an approximate date of their later Rapid's
while it is not perfect as I don't have the skill to account for all variables it does give people what I believe is a date within a month or 2 of their actual production date.

    The Rapid Range original data:

The Rapid Range with serial number and date projections:

You might notice that the projections goes up to 2020, this was forward thinking on Phil's part as he wanted to add the serial numbers from Dr Bob's Vendetta blocks when they became available.

Those and other useful files I saved from R7OC for personal use are available on my google drive:

    Hope this helps, cheers

In the last 2 years I would not take to much notice of the numbers as they were all over the place.plus seen a couple with no serial number at all.
