Cheap measuring equiptment .
Rarely worth bothering with . IME.
I have a Combro but I need a F1 chrony style to better suit some of my guns, seen these below direct from China at £50 posted.
eg item # 264143252204
Anyone bought one?
And I know it's cheap and some will say get a Skan or a F1 but money's blooming tight at present and I just shot my Combro again yesterday trying to use it with pistols it's not designed for...!
Really interested if anyone has *actually* bought and tried one.

Hmmm...
They have copied a lot of their description from the competition electronics site in the USA, even going so far as to refer to their unit as a 'prochrono'!!!
https://www.competitionelectronics.c...hrono-digital/
Obviously this doesn't allude to it's functionality, but it's downright dirty Chinese ripoff at its worst.

No, but what I have just ordered from AliExpress is a chrono for £18 delivered. I'm awaiting delivery currently, but previous purchasers have run them with Chrono's for comparison with good results (see UKCAF threads)
Now on t'bay

I know some will say ‘cheap Chinese crap’ but as we all know the innards of most ‘Western’ electronics come from China so no reason it won’t work fine and reliably without a big name on the cover. I don’t think the F1 is renowned for its component quality either but just seems to be the default and expensive choice.
As I say though interested to hear directly from those who have actually used one?

I shot mine again this week. I am not too keen on the super cheap £18 one as it looks like the barrel needs to be clamped but I'll take a punt on the £50 F1 style and report back on how it works out. I'll also compare it to my Combro - once I have sent it back to Robin for repair (again)...

Just looked at the item on that site and noticed that the max projectile weight is 10g.
If that is grammes then o.k. but if grains then not much use??
Ken.
If everything seems to be under control.........you are not going fast enough!
