    Scope for Webley Omega

I would like a bit more zoom for my nearly perfect Webley Omega (well if it was LH it would be perfect!)

I currently have a Nikko Stirling Special 6x32 gloss, but would like 10x ideally something more period than the Vortex Diamondback I just tried to drop on there!

Any ideas what to look at?
    Thanks - Geoff.

Webley did a 3-9x40 Gold; think it was a Jap Hakko budget. Its what I have on mine, and rather good. Require reparallaxing, and only just managed it. Webley didn't buy scopes in often, and even the above might be a bit late.
Any 80's Tasco, Kassnar, Optima, or Nikko would do.

Apel did a FWB, Omega specific cross pin arrester mount. Rocking horse doodar.

A Webley Platinum with ruby lens is an option with 9x, 10x or 12 x zoom power. Also available branded as a Nikko Stirling.
However, a period Tasco takes some beating.

    I would
Concure with this, I use a NS Plat ruby lens scope on an Airsporter RB2 Carbine and it’s looks and performs brilliantly!

Aaahhh - the good olde Apel one piece mount with Webleys own (Jap ?) scope. On a par I would say with a Apel/Tasco 2-7x32AG combo. Very nice.

    Yeah, that’s a lovely scope / setup.
And I.J stop teasing me with a left handed Omega :-(

I do have some kind of branded Webley scope on my Tracker, it’s a 3-9x40 I think, the lenses look pink/red, I was tempted to swap it over, but the tracker is walnut, immaculate, and as it’s extremely accurate, it’s a such a one off I am hesitant to disturb the setup.

A Tasco sounds like the best bet.

    Thanks!
