That's why I posted it They're quite helpful give em a bell .
You haven't mentioned what type of walnut you wanted so your knowledge is a bit limited on the subject I'm afraid to say.
Claro, Turkish, Armenian/Russian, English(American), French?
How much are you willing to spend?
Depending on much risk you want to take on the stock breaking and on what figuring you want one could give you the right advice on what to buy and where to buy it. It tends to vary a bit and there's a best buy off course.
limited knowledge yes.
enlighten me.was thinking american or turkish.how about 350 pounds.waiting to be enlightened
https://shop.walnut-gunstockblanks.c...-Blanks/Fancy/ just scroll down.
For 350 quid I'd shop around here, which rifle is it? Springer or pcp?
You could also get good claro and a very nice piece at that but I'd never recommend that for a springer. If you're carefull with a pcp it will be ok and it can take some minor knocks but not a big one.
Just say you want something fancier for the dosh?
There are trade offs to be made money/strength/beauty just like wimmin.
pcp steyr
Exhibition claro at about 387£ plus shipping.

Yes especially claro what you probably call American, I warned Tony B once upon a time about that when they'd announced that they'd bought a wood in American to supply that nicely figured wood and he'd just confirmed what I'd warned him about. You'd notice that on some of them soon afterwards once they're a finished stock.
Don't get me wrong there are 416's out there with claro...
appreciate your help link wont open for me.
