    Got a very nice 95 stock on my old school 85. Still don't like the rifle though.

    I need to refinish my 85 stock and then make my mind up yours looks okay but still the new Luxus stock looks good ...

    As Rustybuzz said, it handles like a set of ladders. Something about the length of the cylinder. Way prefer my 77k.

    Yep haha I do agree there it is a bit on the long side and mines a carbine.

    Must be the balance as well, as I get on fine with the HW80 and the HW35 Export with the 22" barrel....

    Oh no the hw35 hurts my eyes mate but if I ever go blind I will try one

    Ha ha .. that's so funny, everyone finds it hideous now, but it was the most lusted-after rifle for many people for a long time! Like the ProSport for us lot in the 1970s. I'd swap my HW85 for a nice .177 Export with the 22" barrel... Maybe you SHOULD try one with your eyes closed, nice slender pistol grip, nice fat fore-end, easy barrel-latch coming to hand ...

    What you want is one of these stocks, and original early HW 85 k MK1,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,no you cant have it its mines



    Beside a modern 80 stock for comparison

    Yes I actually much prefer that to my deluxe stock bud!
