Blown away by all your messages and pm’s. Thank you.
I was allowed to feed and change him tonight which was wonderful- then he went back in his pod for another night ( and broke my heart I don’t mind admitting).
Mother and son are in the best place and as always, I’m touched by the selflessness and professionalism of all the people looking after them.
Thanks again lads, you’re a good bunch.

Congratulations Craig and Sarah and I really liked your ‘interpretation’ of the word ‘Carbine’ in your thread heading. I
suppose for the next several months he’ll be a self-loading, fully automatic, rapid firing model. 🤣
    Guid Luck,

She loves him, mate. I took her to see him yesterday and she’s already made plans to take him to Butlins in the summer, on her own...
I hadn’t slept for nearly 36 hours until last night and I’ve only just woken up. I’ve not slept for 12 hours straight since I was a teenager

Make the most of any possible long sleepies for now, matey.

I can imagine little Eleanor being very made up with her new little playmate.

Any news on when they might be coming home, Craigy?

After a long labour our son was delivered by emergency section at 4am this morning. As seems to be the case of late, Sarah and I couldn’t do it without an additional sprinkling of grief, so he’s staying in a specialist unit for a (hopefully little) while as he had a rough old time and needs some treatment.

Sarah is fine, just a bit bashed up. But my lady’s a warrior and will tough it out.

Anyone waiting on work with or organised through me, I’ll be able to update you in a few days when I know what’s going on with my son.

    Best, Craig x
Many congratulations from Sammie and me

    Congratulations to you both.
If your good lady is taking the wee laddy to Butlins, it could be the weekend of the Boinger bash. If you can bear to be away from them that is.

Would be a great time to wet the babys head.

    Congrats
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Congratulations to Sarah and yourself, Craig --- I'm sure he'll grow up to be a chip off the old block.

He certainly will, mate. Have a look at his slippers, his career path is already mapped out:

I’ve booked the time for the bash already, mate. Just have to convert the van to a camper (as in, load it with beer and chuck an air bed in the back) and I’m all set. I just hope I can find time to screw a few guns together beforehand...
