What type of finish are you looking for?
The one that looks the best or which one lasts the most in the rain?
I was wondering can you wax a laminate stock or do you oil them.
Cheers

You can't oil them, as far as I know, laminate stocks are all finished with a lacquer/varnish. All the ones I have seen have been.
LOOKING FOR A BSA ULTRA IN .177 and .25
I clean mine with napier gun cleaner, brings all the stocks up nicely
As far as I know the ply used for gunstocks is laminated with resin to increase its stability, therefore it's only finishing option is a laquer coat. You can polish/buff the finish with a wax but for durability it's best left with a good laquer.
GRS rifle stocks in laminate are dipped in a bath of oil
I have 1 [HFT500] its has been re-oiled with no problems and weatherproof.
