    Daystate Griffin

Hi everyone I’m new here. I’m having problems with my pellets groupings with my recently purchased Daystate Griffin? Zeroing at 25 yards in an indoor shooting range, I put pellet on pellet first two or three and then the next have a few wayward pellets? Any ideas?

If your using the magazine then switch to a single shot loader, magazines are ok for some stuff, but are never as accurate as a single shot loader, so I'd start there.

After that I'd check you moderator is not clipping if you have one fitted.

Next make sure you have given the barrel a good pull through several times and then re lead with 20/30 pellets to settle it.

Next comes the pellet testing, you may just find your barrel like a particular pellet type - this is very common, Griffins tend to like JSB 4.53/4.53/AADF and Sovereigns, although you can try most major brands, but these will be a great place to start

Try this lot and your 90% likely to have sorted you issue.

If not, come back for more
