HW30S as above. And, also as above, if it was too large initially, a cheaper second hand stock to alter.

Diana 24, especially the 24D with T01 trigger. Not quite sure how good the recent Diana junior rifles are....the Eleven, 240 etc.

Maybe, maybe even something like the Gamo Delta? I once handled one of these which belonged to a club shooter and he said it shot very nicely and was accurate, too. Having recently worked on my Gamo Vipermax I was quite impressed with overall internal finish and build, so if the tiddler was anything like that.......cheap, too.

Cometa 50 seemed quite nice when handled in a shop once, too. Same applies to the SMK, think the "baby" one is the "15"?
THE BOINGER BASH AT QUIGLEY HOLLOW. MAKING GREAT MEMORIES SINCE 15th JUNE, 2013.
    NEXT EVENT :- May 4/5, 2024.........BOING!!

    HW30S, older Diana 23, 24, 25, 27. Probably a 23 for an eight year old.

Another vote for the Gamo Delta range, also surprisingly the Cometa 50 is a great plinking gun at just 92cm long. I can also recommend the Cometa 100 for it's accuracy and it's just 10cm longer.

HW30 for springer, S200 for PCP.

I had a Cometa 50 when i first started, Trigger was terrible but it served a purpose and fired a few thousand shots before i could handle a lovely HW35.

Make sure you go for the HW30S rather than the HW30. The 'S' model has the Rekord trigger.
Watch out for the cylinder galling issues. Other than that they are tidy little rifles.
    Good deals with these members

My 7 year old started with an s200 and now lays claim to my hw100 kt, very easy to cock and good trigger.
The hw100 is way easier to cock than the s200.

I sold a tuned smk19 to a colleague for his 11 year old son. Sadly it was too big ad he ended up with his dad cocking the rifle and shooting it off of a rest.
