Nice one Matt, thats a keeper by the sounds of it although Id start a "huma reg fund"

Ive recently bought a used r10 locally that has had the reg changed to the huma unit and it was dirt cheap, that was the reason I thought Id hve a go with one, as after owning three lemons previously my experience of the r10 was rather poor. Luckily this one has a good barrel too and is super accurate, and Ive had a tinker fitting some xtx parts help the horrid hammer bounce.

So they can be a decent rifle bud the odds are stacked against you, luckily youve found a tidy one, if it's accurate it will be worth fitting the huma later

Yes I bought it fully expecting a huma to be on the cards but for now it seems okay so will stick with it, also I was thinking about sticking in the lightweight hammer and spring guide in is that what you have done?

    Cheers.

Very pleased I bought a lottery ticket tonight. Having owned 7 R-10's over the last six years and never experienced a single issue my luck must be in.
    Chairgun doesn't take the shot.

    Yes Matt

    All xtx stuff
Along with the stainless probe the jobs a good'n

The only other thing Ive done is polish my barrel as per BigAls instructions and its a tack driver, also made a carbon shroud that keeps it whisper quiet. Its a shame they waste so much air but its fun trying to stop it and Ive got a good shotcount(230). So I think Ive got a good one now and probably a keeper !

Some of your good luck must have rubbed off on me. I have had four, the first one being sent back to BSA shortly after the rifle release date. This was replaced by a modified Mk1 (I believe they fitted Mk2 internals). I have never had a bit of bother with any of the three I now own
