    Good starter pistol.

    Hi.
    I'm looking for a plinking/target pistol..not replicas or bbs.
I had a brno b96 and regret selling it and now looking for a Rohm twinmaster trainer.. FAS 6004.. hw75 or HW45.
Are there any others you guys would recommend.. I'm looking to spend around £300/350.
Is a .22 a good choice for an air pistol.
    Cheers

.177” only if you want to take part in any organised 10M target pistol activity.

Chiappa “FAS” 6004 is less desirable than older FAS “FAS” 604.

Of the older stuff at or below your price range, the FWB 65/80, Diana 6/10 are much better pure target pistols than the HW45 or 75. As is the Baikal IZX-46/46M. Actually the Gamo Compact is a better 10M gun than the HWs. Just.
