    HW97 internals identity please

These don't look completely standard to me but asking them that know. It's Blackline apparently.
    Spring 231 x 20 x 3 x 28 coil x 36 lb/inch Seems sensible as is ME. Ends hand finished but a bit untidy. Thanks for looking.

Apart from the piston seal and top hat it all looks standard Weihrauch to me, Jules.

Agreed. Maybe, just maybe the spring guide 'inner' has been replaced with a better fitting one but I doubt it.
    Cheers, Phil

    The guide looks standard.

The guide tubes come in several ODs, Phil.

I have a big box of Weihrauch guides which were given to me by UKNeil when he retired, so I just mix and match them to whichever Spring and cylinder size I'm playing with.

    All the best Mick

    That's what I thought.

It all looks standard, maybe with an Oz seal 👍

That's not a bad thing. How does it shoot?

Thanks ... I did not know that. My experience of such guides has been limited to the 97 and although I consider them a vast improvement over the old splayed metal type as used on the early 77 you could describe some as a fairly loose fit.

    Cheers, Phil

Thanks again for looking/support. Spring sloppy in piston and twangy so sleeved with plastic which softened it nicely. Removed 3mm power/slip washer too. 11 ME so fine for the mo'.
