Blueing Aluminium

I’ve a moderator adaptor that’s in aluminium. I’d like it black, so blueing / blacking / anodising?

Tried cold blueing years ago, looked OK for a short while but faded. I’d like this to be perfect.

Any pointers or recommended people? Not looking for Cerakote.

If you try to blue it then it will dissolve!

Try your local anodisers and get it put in with a batch of the right colour. Costs a fortune for a single piece otherwise
