    .
Wow! Loved my 10/22 when I was hooked on mini rifle comps (great fun ) using a banana x30 mag, but I wonder if the air rifle rotating mag will stick and foul as frequently as my standard f.a.c. Ruger rotating 10/22 mag did?

Sounds like you had a duff mag for your 10/22!

There were, tbh, lots of rubbish hi-cap 10/22 mags.

Anyway, this is an air rifle...

Maybe, but it wasn't just me, as was a wide-spread problem and historical design glitch which plagued many a Ruger 10/22 rim-fire rotating mag back in the day ...

Our club must have been lucky then, nearly all issues with the 10/22s were down to mags and a bit of tape fixed most of them.

Indeed there were, but with a banana mag utilised, not a shot, or a beat, or a mini rifle target was missed on my watch.

The brief time I had a 10/22 it worked fine with factory 10 shot mags.

The mag release was awful. The bolt holt-open was poor. But the mags were fine. The aftermarket hi-cap mags were average to terrible.

Anyway, this thread is supposed to be about the new CO2 airgun version...

Indeed. Sorry my friend ... Going back to the plot, then, I'd love to have a play with one. Wonder what the shot count per Co2 bulb is?
