    Target Pistols

I have recently inherited 2 pistols both are SSP, one Gamo and one Airmatch.
Both hold air and shoot fine with the silly lumpy wood RH grips.
Are they of interest or value?

Gamo Compacts usually fetch around £80-£110 in decent condition. there’s been a few come up recently and they still seem to have a demand and are usually considered an excellent starter or low cost target pistol.

Sorry can’t help with the Airmatch.

Airmatch may be worth couple hundred if it’s good working order.
    Thanks - Geoff.

    Air MST

Edit. Managed to post too early.

If the AirMatch is one of these (there was both a model 600 and a 400), and in good condition and working order, it is indeed worth £200 or a little more. Quite scarce, and a rather interesting piece, with the sidelever and the sliding breech arrangement.

The funny bit on the front of the Airmatch is removable.
    It extends your sight line.

Baz and I have had cased versions of these.
    I paid £150 for mine.

    They are nice to shoot.

    Baz has fixed a couple.

I have an original alloy case for an airmatch, (no pistol in it though)

A nice pistol if in working condition, I believe I saw your example on your table at the fair, I noticed it and thought "do I need to put a pistol in the case I have"

    Airmatch

The Airmatch was an olympic standard pistol in the 70s/80s. Easily capable of high scores in the right hands. Should be worth the prices stated in good order.
I started this life with nothing and I still have most of it left!

Hi there. Do you still have the case?
