And a great finish to the season! Especially as I had the pleasure of shooting with Chris and Georgia Moore from Bicester Targets - fabulous! I hope you'll all give generously to Georgia's charity walk.

It's been a great season and a lot of people have made it happen. The one person who works so hard to make it all happen, and we don't always thank, is Charles.
So, a big thank you to you all, but also to Charles who has so many hats on when it comes to HFT!!! Without all of you we wouldn't have the great shoots and venues that we do.

Looking forward to the SIHFT series, not to mention the Nationals!! May my new stock improve my scores!!!!!!!!

    Is it just me...

I log in here regularly to keep a check on the competition...is it just me or are there less people responding to the posting of results and banter than there used to be, it all seems to have gone very quiet

To the shooting, I only managed 4 events in the series but all spot on, massive thanks to all those who give their time to making all this happen, where would we be without you

I like Bisley, thanks guys, you could see the effort that had gone into some of those targets....they don't all have to be long to make a tricky course.

I am liking the extra positionals, more please

Thanks for putting up with me Steve and Mike (the legendary Herx77 who would have guessed it ).

Special notice to Nigel, 57 with one of those things, top shooting from a top bloke

Anyway Spring it seems has arrived:

With winter's footprints in the past,
and snows begin to melt at last.

With longer days and shorter nights,
the wayward winds of March take flight.

Four winds she holds within her grip,
then hurls them from her fingertip.

Her woolly, fleecy clouds of white,
she sets in skies of blue delight.

Her wild bouts of gusty breezes
roar through valleys, hills, and trees.

That high pitch whistling song she sings
    awakens earth and flowering things.

She tears a hole in heaven's sky
so sun can shine and rain can cry.

She gently calms as spring draws near,
    as blooming daffodils appear.

    She welcomes April showers in,
then gathers up her dwindling winds.
Now her long journey home begins,

knowing she'll be back this way,
upon a cold, late winter's day,

    when nights grow short
    and days grow long.

    Listen for her whistling song!
..."My son," said the Norman Baron...."The Saxon is not like us Normans. His manners are not so polite. But he never means anything serious till he talks about justice and right"...

    SHIFT it....

There once was a shooter loved SIHFT
Gave all other comps short shrift
    Platinum was his goal
Just needed to shoot in the hole
But kept plating, and got really miffed

    Best I can do...tired...

It was my pleasure to shoot with you LOL ( even though your score brought back memories from the dark and distant past, don't know about the legend but thanks );like wise Steve who strugged but gave his awl ( something to do with wood work ?) shame! something seemed to be in conflict with gun and shooters Karma;an off day but good company non the less.
Like the scope! don't need one, but gotta have one. The little voices whispering, go on you know you want one!Getting louder by the minute! Sowing seeds on fertile ground.?

    Scope hunt....

Mike, very coincidentally I picked this up today:

    https://photos.app.goo.gl/CL3n9zoW8VhV1p2GA

Brand spanking new and they stopped making them 4 years ago apparently

Project in the offing, going to be something special
