Yes Tone, all the lost and found is now accounted for, I now know who owns :-

The pre war BSA break barrel.

The laser rangefinder.

The gun rest.

And the carrier bag full of Flint.



And I still have Gwyn's hearing aid.

How are you feeling after last weekend's efforts?

Remember that a week or so before the last Bash I had lent the Gamo to a friend to sort his rat problem out?

He hadn't shot anything for years so, when he collected the gun I gave him the safety talk, gun handling tips and advice on technique. Well, he's been getting on really well with it. Three cleanly taken rolands and he's bitten the bug and wants his own rifle!

I've given him some pointers on suitable rifles, including the results of my search a couple of nights ago yielding cheap prices on new Shadow DX. Just over £100 for a brand new gun at many places. And he likes the Vipermax that much (and it looks like the same action) that he might end up with one. If he hasn't sorted anything by tomorrow afternoon, we might have a trip out together to one of my friendly RFDs to see what he has there.

Another newbie to the sport and I'll work on him possibly coming in June.

I couldn't get on last night as the nice chap who had borrowed the Gamo and his wife came. As it was evening, we didn't get to the shop but had a good chat re airguns and all sorts of other stuff.

If any of you chaps know of any nice, unmessed with, HW99s, 35s, 95s, Walther Terrus or Century going for the right sort of money, please shout up, as he's in the market.
