    Sorry to hear this.

Have you managed to have another look at it yet? If not, what's it doing?

Hope you get it sorted soon, we can't have young Mel 30-less.
If the stock and trigger guard screws are loose you can cock it, but tighten them to get consistency and it won't/cant engage.
Not had time yet, so will probably have to get Lyn to fix this one also.

Try taking a smidge off the end of the front trigger guard screw, Jaimie.

Also check that the sear that pokes out of the front of the cage isn't catching on the woodwork behind the front trigger guard screw.

Sound advice from Mick as ever. I had a problem cocking my HW90, turned out the stock screws had been tightened so much over the years they embedded themselves deeper into the wood and the ends of the bolt fouled the cocking lever

That’s what I did with my 90 which sorted that out and then it went and turned all funny on another issue

    Good advice indeed from Mick.

Think we've been here once or twice before, eh Mick?

So, if I am thinking of the right gun, Jamie, it will have the non-standard stock? And, from what you're saying, you seem to have full movement on the cocking stroke but the piston just won't latch? With the stock screws tightened, when you play with the trigger (uncocked, of course), does the first stage feel "gravelly"? My guess would also be that that bottom sear is catching on the woodwork. Maybe an earlier trigger and the stock was inletted for a later action (with shorter bottom sear). My fix would be to relieve some of the wood away. Whereas I know Mick has, once or twice in the past, shortened the bottom sear slightly.

    Hope this helps.
