Just like to say thanks to Mick & Shirl for a fantastic weekend and thanks for everyones patience with casper, who was very excited to be there, its been a hard few weeks for the old fella, he's especially sorry for running into the main field this morning and giving Shirl a heart attack, atb Daz & Casper

A most lovely lad Casper is, Daz. Great to see him looking so well.

Lovely to see all those other lovely little dogdogs, too, including those awesome pups!

And thank you so much for bringing along those lovely toys, Al.

The BSF was exactly what I expected. Cute, compact, rugged and potent.

The 335 also. I think I may have shot one before; wouldn't bet the house on it, though.

The Diana 35 was an eye opener and lovely to shoot.

And the K98 really surprised me. I'd never really looked at them before and kinda regarded it as a bit of a pointless novelty. But the stock and comfort was a revelation and the firing cycle, after your fettling, lovely.

Have a great few days in Somerset matey.

At the bash my cheap and nasty Umarex Colt M4 purchased for fun just three weeks ago decide to go wrong and not cock. The RFD has agreed to refund or exchange so i'm wondering what to go for instead. I had considered an HW99 as i'd like something light and fun for use on open sights but I'm also really tempted with the HW57. Any opinions gratefully received
