    Kral NP02 top rail

    Hi all,

just received my Kral NP02 today, went to put my scope onboard to discover the top rail isn't spaced the same as my Dr Bobs rail on my rapid 7, no big worries so undid the clamps to re-space and found a second problem, my UTG lever lock mounts wont open enough to tighten on the rail? Even with the small adjuster hex totally removed, still locking up at 90 degrees and I won't hammer it past!

Anybody else found mounting issues? And any solutions?

Also has anybody mounted a Pard NV008 on theirs, and did it fit ok? Not received my unit yet but interested if issues will be found.

    Thanks
    John

Nope. Both of mine (Reggie & Ronnie - The Kral Twins )

took standard (11mm ?) two piece medium mounts Hawke/S Match. Ive not heard of any other problems with NP02 within the club.

    Thanks Ian,

I can see you opted for the 11mm mounts, I wanted to stick with picatinny / weaver mounts to allow easy swapping scopes between rifles and or day/night. Does anybody at your club use these mounts?

    Cheers

Not that I know of. I know Dave uses reach back due to the long eye relief.

Just received my Pard NV008 in the post and the mount won't fit the Kral, the slot gaps are too narrow to allow the recoil peg to seat.
    Bugger!
