Your No.1 piece of airgunning advice

What is your number 1 piece of airgunning advice?

Mine is directed entirely towards myself:

Never sell BKL mounts, as you only end up buying them again new (several times over with some types over the years!), and so lose more money than you made by selling the old ones!

If you not 100% sure what it is, don't shoot it.

Don't waste money on the next best thing...it usually isn't as good as what you already have.

    Sell

If your going to sell ANYTHING put it away for a few week and see if you can do without it first - learnt the hard way, multiple times.

Find somewhere to shoot first and buy the gun to suit what you want to do.

Learn for yourself exactly what your limits and capabilities are with your kit in different ( wind etc ) conditions. Er ... that's 10 out of 10 shots and not 4 out of 5 and we'll just forget about that 5th one.

Then you'll learn that Knobs and Walts mostly talk a load of b0ll0x.
