If you’re gonna compete in HFT make sure you prepare by doing some agility exercises and fitness training prior to the event to make it more comfortable for you to adopt the different positions necessary to view and shoot the target.
Last Sunday I competed in my club’s HFT event and I’ve done nothing fitness wise during the last several months! It was painful and I felt like quitting halfway through. Ended up knackered with a capital ‘F’!!!
It’s a totally different ball game shooting a round of varied HFT targets compared to bench rest shooting seated at the plinking range!
I seriously need to get fit!!
