Hi everyone, I have what I think is a 1945-58 .177 smooth bore pistol. I will post a pic. It’s in used condition but has the extended grips. Am I correct and appreciate its very average condition what would it be worth ? Many thanks

Can I post pics direct on here now or does it have to go through a host site ?
Looks like someone in the past has spray painted it black? In that condition I would say £30-£50 . If it had the original bluing showing £60-£80 range. In original box £120-£150 maybe. Of course, if you can find someone that REALLY wants it, they might pay more.

I'd mainly agree on this, maybe £35-£50. With things of this sort of age and condition, paying more could be end up costing a fair bit more than buying a slightly better pistol.
I am NOT saying there is anything wrong with the pistol, but it could need a new mainspring, piston washer and breech seal----AND I have found that a lot of Webley pistols need a new cocking link as they are so worn over the years.
However the bits mentioned could all still have a bit of life in them and it would be a good fun gun in that sort of price range.
If it were mine---I'd keep it and enjoy it for the next (oh bugger the thing would out last me!) 60 years.
