Question Reload swiss for 7.62x 54r?

Anyone use the above? There is limited data on their website, suggesting RS62 which I don’t think is the best choice with a heavy bullet (174gr).

Seems RS50 or 52 is best. RS50 preffered as it is less of a barrel burner.

I would try whichever RS powder is RL17 (RS60?) as that works beautifully with the Swiss 7.5x55 174grn load.

    RS powder

I swapped from R17 to RS 60 and got the same results from both.

That will be because they are the same powder , I couldn't remember the RS number but the same company always made RL17 as RS60 or even Elcho17 as it was marketed as for a short while, I am o my last bottle of elcho17 will need to get some RS60 I guess

RS62 is my go to powder for 139gr Scenars but it's a bit quick for anything much heavier.
Having said that, i know someone who swears by it in his 30-06.

Did you chronograph? Just curious about velocities. I use RS62 in my 6.5mm so, using the same powder would save me a lot of hassle!
