    When it comes to well-made collectables that can be put back into service, it is difficult to quantify how much they are worth in monetary terms. Even if you paid above the market rate and have to spend some money getting it functioning, you will own a tool of high quality that will give a lifetime of service and becomes an heirloom. Your target pistol will likely outlast any car or other mechanical product that you own. Splitting the total cost into a lifetime of ownership reveals a good gun is good value.

    The seller was as good as his word. He refunded me the purchase price & the postage costs to return it. Can't say fairer than that. I've now got a better idea of what to look for in future. Thanks guys, I've learnt a lot
