    Webley MK VI Tip

This Webley was tending to jam on firing, found the timing was out. As the trigger is pulled, the hand (pawl) A pushes the cylinder clockwise and the cylinder lock B should drop down to allow the movement. I found the tiny lock spring C had come off its locating peg, so as the trigger is pulled there is a slight delay in the lock dropping, causing an obstruction. If you have this problem you can relocate the spring but I think a very slightly stronger one is better. Sorry folks, after experimenting found that a weak spring is better. With strong spring tends to lock up more.

Cheers Baz. I very occasionally have this problem with my pellet MK.VI (but not my BB variant), so if it's manifestation steps up, I now know what to do. Atb: G.
