    Another newbie question

    hello all

just splashed out on a dry tumbler first question,

I have read that you can buy larger quantities of walnut shot blasting media a lot cheaper than normal media, is it ok to use ?

    second question

can you add a polish to dry media for that extra shine to the brass ?

    thanks all

reptile media is cheaper lol....you can add a touch of jewellers rouge or auto sol paste if left out to dry.
some even put a tiny bit of brasso but be careful .
personally stainless steel cleaning is better

yes ....i used a little years ago and no problems but over doing it tends to turn edges pink.
    try silver polish.
to clean media , place in knotted pillowcase and put in washer then tumble dry.....make sure it is secure.
after awhile it will go dusty.....put a tumble dryer anti static sheet torn into strips in
