    New guy with value question.

I purchased this pistol in an estate sale with a few other firearm related items. Hoping you good people could help me out with placing a value on it. Thank you in advance.

    Cool

I reckon someone looking for one would pay £500 if they really wanted one.
Very rare. Hens teeth etc. Fantastic.
I'd enjoy ownership rather than sell.

.41magnum, I'm thinking you're here in the USA?

If so, here's my take: Although Haenel Model 26's in nice shape are harder to find than 28's, collectors here don't have as much interest in them because of their "lesser-quality" materials and finish. Pretty decent non-boxed examples change hands for less than $150 - your box and pellets are a great addition but likely don't add more than $100 in market value among the collector crowd. The exception to all this could be fleabay, where airgun stuff sometimes brings 2X or more the going rate.

Note my observations are based on U.S. conditions; in the UK or Germany things tend to be different in the realm of airgun collecting.

Agree with Don. A 26 is just not worth that kind of money.

    Hi,

    The Germans certainly like them:

They got a little carried away with that one.

I’d put it up for auction on egun and post to Germany.

    Matt.

The rarest bit is the little box of pellets. but l would have to agree with Flint about the US market.

Have picked these up for as low as £70 in UK with no box. I would agree with the lower estimate of $250. The one below was £70.

How accurate is the Blue Book in the U.S. ? My old copy says $225 in 95% condition without the box.
