    Airsporter mk2 valuation

    Greetings all

I’ve been asked by a friend to get a valuation for his lovely old airsporter. It’s in nice original condition and has clearly never been messed with or refinished. It shoots beautifully and has plenty of power. Only marks to the bluing are some scratches to the sight ramp - otherwise it pretty much spotless. Stock is also in very good condition with a few light marks here and there

Any opinions or help on value would be greatly appreciated

Can you give the calibre and explain 'plenty of power' a bit more. Any chance you have chrono results / pellet? Failing a chrono, will it push a pellet through a Screwfix Catalogue up to 'drain rods'? Photos would help but many people offer to email them.
    Cheers, Phil

    Thanks Phil, points noted.

I’m having a little trouble getting the photos to show but I’ll persevere.

    Calibre is .22

As for power I’d guess it’s putting out around 10f/lb but I’ll test it - I’ve got a crombro somewhere...and a screwfix catalogue

Just fired a quick string through the combro with some 15.4 grain pellets - not sure what they are but they were the only .22 pellets I could find quickly

Putting out an average of 10.24 f/lb

Thanks Geezer - indeed it is a nice one, I’m rather smitten with it actually...very smooth to shoot and beautifully consistent and accurate!

If there are no cracks in the stock it’s worth at least £220

Hmmmm. Not that enthusiastic, but it is in v-vgc, so maybe the thick end of £200 (plus post if not f-2-f) ?
