    Umarex Peacemaker.
Plenty of models to choose from.

Or the black Schofield pellet firer.

Rig off the net or on forum sales.

Nice holster on Airgun forum now.not cheap.
John Beattie on UBC does them too.

Yes, I think the Schofield is a great CO2 revolver.

    Although not rifled barrel

    Pretty good accuracy though

7.5" peacemaker would be my first choice

I've loved the schofield since Unforgiven... not sure about dad though. I think a peacemaker would better fit the bill. Any particular models better than others for accuracy? Also, are they metal or resin?

I've had a fair few Colt SAAs and in my considered opinion, the nickel finish oozes the most quality and best feel. Cosmetically I also like the 5 1/2" barrel version, best, but several mates like the look of the 7 1/2" barrel, more, so I guess it is down to taste? Although I similarly adore my pellet firing Schofield, the rifled barrel of the pellet SAA sets it apart by a clear country mile. Hope this helps?

Your Dad's the same age as me. We grew up watching the Lone Ranger, Cisco Kid, Gunsmoke. Marverick, Have Gun Will Travel and many others. Most of these guys used a Colt single action.

Wish the ol' boy a happy birthday.

The 7 inch pellet Peacemaker in any form is probably best for power and accuracy.

But the shorter model pellet is best for fast draw.

If its going to used a lot the worn/antique finish is best.

You could also get him a shiny one for that special occasion.

They are all made of alloy.

Some Gingernuts are daft enough to buy every model.
    This is not necessary.

    Great advice, thanks.
My dad is from Waco, Texas, so it's only fitting I think, I get him a peacemaker. If I had a spare slot, I'd get a BP one, but we have shared tickets and I cant request a new slot without him finding out 😥😂

Correct, but the shells are rifled so that helps accuracy.

Are you quite sure, because as I sit here watching 'Unforgiven' and servicing my Schofield revolvers, am scrutinising all the shells, and (although am the first to admit my eyes ain't as sharp as they were 40 years ago), for the life of me, I can not see any difference internally between the shells of my pellet model and the shells of my BB model. Am I missing something?

Hi Gareth, yes I’m sure. I’ve taken pictures of the shell rifling but unable post them here to show you.

I had a look at a couple of the bb peacemakers the other day in my local. I'm sure the shells are the same as the pellet ones.. they weren't rifled.

I’m not referring to the SAA Peacemakers although the bb and pellet shell are different.
I was answering about the Schofield shells.
