    Folding 2240 Carbine project complete

Finally got the last few bits to complete this the other day - as of now I don't have any Crosman projects on the go for the first time in 8 years or more...

    More pics here: https://imgur.com/gallery/B9dMjMe

Matt W moderator (with oversize screw for quick attachment)
    Gmac sidebolt multi-shot breech
Blue Fork Designs AR trigger frame, airsoft AR grip
    Folding foregrip
Gmac stock adaptor and folding stock
    Vism folding red dot sight

Just went for the cool factor on this one, everything folds away or detaches. At some point I'll make a little foam-lined case for it.

This forum and the skill of the people on here always impresses me but I think this is one of the most ingenious things that I have seen here or anywhere else for a while. Amazing work. Being able to even reseal one of these is beyond me. I love the look of it.
    What does it shoot like?

Thanks guys - not had a shoot with it since it got the multishot breech, but it shot well enough before that and still holds gas, so I've no reason to think it won't be fine when I finally get out with it.

    Top marks that man!

How good/consistent is the folding red dot, and where did you get it please?

Love the tactical crosman look. Your 2240 looks great and a multi shot too
I attempted to do a similar thing to a 1322. Just single shot and still 6fpe

Just looked at the pic Danco… very clever and well thought out! The tactical look is spot on. How does it shoot?

    Thanks!
With the flat top piston and value, 5 pumps gives 5.4fpe with .22 hobbies. I kept the valve spring strong and a weaker hammer spring so it won't got any higher. Shoots really smooth, stock is comfortable and I upgraded the trigger sear and blade so it's a nice crisp pull, with adjustable weight. I shoot it out to 20 yards and it's great fun.

Same thought here. Not seen that before.

Not really my kind of thing, but I can see the appeal.

    Replica HK MP7 front grip?

Thanks! I like the look of yours too, never really got around to messing with any of the 13xx guns.

It's called a 'Vism'. Nice small dot, will be trying to zero it in at the weekend so will let you know.
