    Ripley ar5

    Hi I'm going tomorrow to look at a rifle Has anyone any experience with the Ripley ar5 not the newer s model is there anything I should look out for
    Rifle is 15 years old was serviced 5 weeks ago by dave penman
    its sitting in a cs1000 stock at the moment its consistent over chrono.
    Just wondering how reliable they are and will spares be a problem
    Any advice tips greatly appreciated

    If Dave Penman has just serviced it then it will be spot on.

    I have never heard of an unreliable Ripley AR4/5/5s, unless they have been messed with.

    In my limited experience of owning one for a while and servicing a couple of others, the trigger sears can occasionally wear, otherwise they are a good solid accurate rifle.

    I'm meeting owners brother today to have a we shoot with it
    So looking forward to it.
    My last pcp was the ftp900 so a little different
