1. The perfect air rifle does not exist. Every make has issues whether it be R&D through to batch errors. Group policy and CS also changes from being hot to rot.
2. All PCPs can be complex. Seals will always perish over time. I have a Daystate Air Ranger wh8chis excellent and I had another.... not an air ranger hat was pants.
The BSA R10 Mk1s were universally considered to be really bad. The Mk2s less so. The FX impact was rubbished...now all the R& D is sorted they are a good rifle.
3. If the guns are new... bat it to Hull. Its what you have paid for.
4. On the whole......the 100 is a very very good rifle. It does what it says it will do and it is much copied and concepts borrowed. Trigger... mags... indexing...accuracy....all pretty much sorted out of the box.
There are a lot of specialists here but the bigger picture shows the 100 is a benchmark gun over time.
