    Ultra low mounts

I have a 2x20 pistol scope which after some time I've realised is sitting far too high on my Benjamin EB22 as the default mounts which came with the pistol are medium which gives it a solid 1.5-2cm clearance over the barrel. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for some ultra low mounts (or whether such a thing even exists)? I was initially going to opt for Sportsmatch low mounts but even these aren't as low as I'd like from the images I've seen. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, I think you are a bit stuffed on that. No one that I know of makes low mounts smaller than those that accept a 32-33mm objective. Because, apart from pistol scopes, the sights don’t exist, and, let’s face it, whether right or wrong (wrong?) most rifle shooters use 50-60mm objectives.

There was some one that used to machine mounts to make them lower but they no longer do it. Some one asked the question recently .
Rick Arden was the guy I think but he died a few years back.

    There is this thread http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread....g-scope-mounts

hawke do some low mounts but mainly weaver/picatinny, rise is about 4-6mm. You can get the slip in weaver to dovetail adaptors which raise it a further 2mm approx, that's pretty low.

these are 4mm but there are other types
