    Preston Arms Fair

    anyone ever been?

    it's a militaria fair, some quite specialist stuff but prices have been creeping up over the last few shows. Quite a few historical airguns knocking about the many stalls plus one trader selling modern stuff mostly umarex but he is quite expensive.

    I and a friend usually go to this one and pudsey. It's not in preston, it's at park hall which is charnock richard. Nearest motorway access is M6 at either leyland or standish. The "unofficial" junction at the services has been closed nearly 12 months

    good for a walk round but the butties are expensive compared to other shows. Get there when it opens for the best deals, we've seen a lot of money change hands at these but bargains are few and far between. A lot of uniforms for sale if that is your thing. Denix now getting popular due to the change in de-act legislation so a few of the traders now have these on their stalls

    went and had dinner round the corner,passed an hour on,better than some but with more and more legislation theres less and less to buy,deacts of stuff I used to shoot
    slightly depressing...

    I have lived in amd around Preston all my life buy have missed this... how often is it held?

    If u Google it the site comes up and on the top right hand of the opening page, there are a list of dates with the future events at park hall or there was yesterday, hope this helps
