How much would a minter be worth chaps ? It also comes with a period bsa 4x32 Jap scope. Can the barrel pivot be tightened ? It looks to have a bolt and nut arrangement, not sure what MK it is.
Any info would be appreciated

The challengers have beech stocks but very nice ones. They can be identified by having a breech bolt and the raised maxigrip scope rail. Had one as a kid and would love another or a different model mercury with a breech bolt.

Yes Pete, but to do the job properly you add or subtract shims (WO98) :-

The parts diagram seems to indicate 4 shims so I am guessing you can add/take away as necessary?

I had a Challenger and it was a lovely gun, as stated stock was beach but mine was surprisingly well grained, mine was .22 and accurate with Ely Wasps
