22 sales threads in 6 months and every post se3ms to be sales related. I would venture this guy is trading. I flipped through 3 pages and no posts other than sales. ?
That said ..... with that many sales over that many years... if he was rogue he would probably have come to the attention of the mods before now.

It could also be the journey through the mail system has introduced some knocks and bangs a rifle would not ordinarily attract. I have worked for a courrier company and some of the treatment shocked me even if it was suitably marked up as fragile etc.

Hes been here a few years too and I bought a mount off him in 2015 which was a good deal.

I try an picture the item and video it working and send it to the buyer before I post it. I also take a piccy of the package with all the postage stickers on so they can see it was well wrapped and in good condition before it is slipped through that lil old glass hatch.

i agree with the quote you said. i had my central heating rads delivered by parcel force. the biggest ones weighted in at 77kg. these were on top of peoples parcels and the guy jump in to get them out so i could help him carry them to the house as they are over the weight he should max be lifting by himself by 62kg. also he is walking on top of the parcels to get at my rads. this is why i dont like posting valuable stuff as witnessing first hand how they treat them puts me off posting an expensive gun by post!

I did state that I have moved adress in the last week and that my Internet isn't up and running in the new place yet

I finely log in 48hrs after you received the rifle and all I'm seeing is threats from you in my inbox!? I see you didn't mention these here?

I did state that I don't respond kindly to threats and wouldn't be dealing with you any longer, this is my last response on this matter

I have contacted the forum mods about this "bad deal"

So please contact them for further details.

Rifle was perfectly fine when I sent it, I took a low offer from you of £50 off the asking price and then you state you want the item posting.

Posting the item was entirely your idea and your responsibility as stated, maybe it took a knock on the way down to you, I can't say for certain
But what I do know is that it was working perfectly fine before it was posted.

    Thank you

To be fair - the gun did say ONO and the price you accepted has nothing to do with the item's fitness for purpose does it?

Also you obviously agreed to post it and the ad didn't specify F2F sales only - so seems a reasonable request and if you didn't feel it was reasonable - why didn't you just return the guys money?

However, not sure about the nature of the "threats" made... might be a tad dumb after a relatively short space of time especially if you did tell him you were moving - but you might have to accept people get a bit 'antsy' when thing go awry and maybe an apology from the OP can see things move toward a resolution?

It was a falcon pistol rifle. Tdr. It arrived no problem. But is totally unsafe and unusable. It fires itself and the bolt won't hold back . He won't communicate with me. I have a return address. And email but no phone number.
I have spent £330 on an ornamental peice! Not to mention the air pump scope and mounts. I bought for this as I was waiting for it to arrive.

I bought this to teach my son airgunning. He is very upset. And I'm angry.

If anyone had contact details for SilentSniper please message me

It sounds like it could just be a poorly setup trigger, have you tried adjusting it? I know it’s not the point but just half a turn of a Allen key could resolve your anger and the rifle.

I have a video of the rifle. Trying to hold the bolt. But I have no phone number for him. And I can't upload it to this forum. He had made contact. But to say. Go ahead. Try and return it to me,!

Just seen that SilentSniper has made a reply to this thread.

So this threat I made. Which I can post on here. Was, please reply to me. Or I'll slag you off on this forum

    Thats it.
No, I'm going to kill you.
No, I'll burn your house down.
    Just, please reply.

    The way I see it.
Because you accepted an offer 50quid below asking and had to deliver it. I should expect it to be broken?

The postage and packaging. Was exceptional. It was wrapped in bubble wrap. Then in a box. Then another box. And undamaged.
I have a video of the action. Trying to hold and won't. And when it does hold. 1/10 the slightest knock. And it fires itself! I haven't even put a pellet in this yet.

You refused to give me your phone number before I even paid you. Which I thought was odd..
Obviously, you knew I would be in contact.
