What pellets do you guys use for bell target.

Just tried accupel and it was like Dunkirk. Every shot that hit the plate ricocheted. Quite some distance as well.

Before the smart alecs chime in, I was deliberately hitting it.

try something that's mostly hollow. Accupel have a shallow skirt so are quite solid, might not be deforming well at low power.
My bell target is not a proper set up, so i shoot at distance and at full power... Rings loud

I do have to re-shape the face plate occasionally though

I use AA field or Jsb exact.

Once again, thanks all for your input. My main aim is to keep rebounds down. There is some slight opposition to this and, excuse the pun, I don't want to provide any ammo.

    Cheers

    yeah, accys are very hard.
    JSB are very soft.
soft and light is a good combo.
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Some bell target clubs require the use of domed pellets only. This is because of the defined central mark they leave on the faceplate.

I'm gonna try and stick to dome heads, I'll do a bit of testing and see which gets the fewest flyers.
