The whole ground floor of Kempton Grandstand, plus a few outside.

Over 200 6ft tables and gunslips are compulsory (black bin liners given at the gate to comply)

    what times early doors
    9:30 - 14:30

Travel lodge (£28 booked in advance) 500M away. As for How many guns or the quality of the Fair, It is not for me to comment.....

Can't comment on the B&B but I can tell you there are more vintage airguns at this event than any other arms fair in the country and most probably the world. As both specialist dealers and private sellers have stalls, the range of airguns on offer is truly breathtaking. There are guns for all pockets; for instance one fair had a mound of air rifles for something like £150 for the lot - all were used and of varying quality but there were one or two in there that were top notch. I thought this would have been ideal for the tinkerer with a large boot!

At the other end of the scale, the overall number of vintage BSAs must be well into 3 figures - so many that it is possible to miss unusual examples such as a Sprawson sighted Standard a dealer showed me in his rack after I missed it whilst casually browsing. I also almost missed a BSA Club Mk2 in a similar way and had to be shown that by a fellow collector. All this probably says I may not be as observant as I used to be but it also demonstrates the variety and number of old airguns at this extra special event.

    Hope to see you there.

Here's a link to some snaps from a previous Kempton fair, which should provide an idea of the range and quality of items on offer.

Hi there was about 10 Giffards at the last one. one l know of was less than a £1000. and what as been said above, you will not find a better gun fair than this for airguns. and the entrance fee is realy cheap. and l can reccomend the Travelodge Hotel as well.

It takes me an hour and a half to get to Kempton so compared to many who travel to it I’m virtually on the door step in comparison. I would suggest it’s well worth the pilgrimage for those much further away, I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed somehow
